Default Copyright Trademark issues

Hello everybody I am wondering if my designs could be construed as infringement. Many have said no, but a few have said yes. The main designer that I work with doesn't think so because they have been changed quite a bit and are not trying to represent those leagues or associations. I"m asking because I want feedback and am not 100% sure. What are your thoughts. Please visit http://www.printfection.com/hit420tshirts. I am referring to my sports line MLB, NBA, NFL. thanks

While I am not an attorney it is my experience that yes, you have some problems.

The issue is not about copyright as much as trademark.

The sports logos you are using (even though you made minor copy changes) are recognizable and trading on the registered mark of others.

PF flies a little below the radar and it may take some time but do not be surprised when things are removed.

A trademark owner can make a case even if another mark is SIMILAR enough to cause confusion. The trademark owner does not need to be correct in order to send a C & D letter to PF or to you personally. They have a lot of lawyers and an individual could not afford to fight them in court.

Good luck!

I agree, I thought they were the actual logo at first glance. It's enough to raise a red flag for sure.
